How can I help you?

Therapy can look a few different ways based on what people need and want. You choose the approach that suits your needs.

Strengths-Based Assessment

Almost all therapy begins with a long interview and a lot of questions to identify what you're Who are you? Why are you struggling? Building a complete picture of who you are as a person, and everything that matters to you, allows me to help you with the greatest skill and insight.

Individual Therapy

Our talking is a cross-section of our thinking, and our thinking is the place where most of the suffering happens. Talk therapy helps us discover patterns in our thinking that aren't serving us, learn to talk to ourselves differently (more constructively) and learn to relate to ourselves, others, and the world in a way that is transformative.

Mindfulness & Meditation

Many clients incorporate 10 minutes of basic mindfulness, breath exercises, guided relaxation etc. into therapy sessions; or, opt to have one session periodically just to focus on these skills as a part of their self-care or stress reduction.

Clinical Supervision

Social workers, professional counselors, and other pre-licensed professional therapists can seek me out for supervision hours. I have supervised around a half-dozen social workers through the process of getting their LCSW.
