& Spirituality Group
Many of us have dabbled in spiritual practices or have a relationship with some kind of wisdom tradition, be it in the form of literature (like Dao de Jing) or a ritual (like reading Tarot). Most of us know the feeling of impostor syndrome, a lack of confidence in what we're doing, or a sense that it isn't resulting in the kind of helpful change we hoped for.

In my experience, it's hard to learn something in isolation, and it's almost impossible to master something without guidance or support from someone who is a few steps ahead of you on the path.
On the other hand, where does one learn things like magic, the Kabbalah, or Daoist philosophy?
Self-proclaimed Gurus are a dime-a-dozen: creepy at best, charlatans at worst. New Age spirituality is an industry, filled with self-enriching multimillionaire influencers who seem to be driven by the opposite of spiritual qualities: self-promotion, greed, and the mythic status of their own Ego narrative.

MY ROLE:
I am not a spiritual teacher, and do not presume to be anybody's Guru or something absurd like that. I have no agenda for you besides your own happiness. I have no curriculum for you. I aim to be helpful, and supply you with some possible directions based on my knowledge of different wisdom traditions, spiritual paths, and literature. I act as a facilitator, helper, and support just as I would in therapy with anybody navigating existential issues.

All money that I make in donations from these therapy groups I have vowed to "pay forward" in the form of generosity toward others.**

YOUR WORK
You create your own agenda: the sources you want to learn from, the practices you want to engage in, the guides or supportive figures you want to relate to.

THE GROUP

Group therapy is a tough sell for a lot of people, but it's a transformative space. We gain courage from the vulnerability of opening up, we find solidarity and support from others, and we learn a great deal from comparing and contrasting ourselves with others who have similar goals and struggles.

**This might take the form of mutual aid (for example alms to unsheltered people) or charitable donations to monastics, translators of Buddhist texts, and other 5014c institutions etc.
